On wheels

10 May 2023

When I was a child, my father inculcated his passion in me: cars.

Ever since I was a little boy, I have had a great interest in them, as has my little brother. Years ago we used to play at seeing how many exhaust pipes they had and reading the number plates of every car parked on the pavement.
My most awaited moment was to turn 18 and finally be able to drive.

When I got my driving licence, I was finally able to fulfil my biggest childhood dream.

Driving makes me feel free, especially in a city like Madrid. But not only in that aspect, driving makes me escape my problems, disconnect, feel peace.

Although I was very happy to be able to drive, when I turned 18 I was 3 months away from taking my university entrance exam. I was a kid who had to study things he didn’t like and every day I felt the frustration of not knowing what I wanted to do.

I am an Ade student, and honestly, I entered this career without having a clear idea of whether I was going to like it. At first I felt lost and didn’t know if I had made a mistake.

Over the years I have been able to learn how a company works and I am increasingly interested in it.

In addition to teamwork, which after studying this career, I have discovered that I am very cooperative and collaborative.

And finally, the final moment of my career, the internship, has arrived.

I am in dgtl to support the company, contributing with everything they ask me and, of course, giving my best to help as much as possible.

But my main goal here is to learn. I want to show my 18 year old self, who was overwhelmed in high school, that despite his great frustration, he has finally found what he really likes and that he will not stop until he achieves his goals.
